Blackinton Manor of North Adams, Mass. was constructed in 1849. The Manor was originally the luxurious home of a wealthy textile manufacturer. After years of abandonment and neglect, the house was rediscovered and fully restored by Dan Epstein and Cantor Betsey Peters-Epstein. We offer five comfortable guest suites.
Blackinton Manor is a year-round haven of serenity and beauty. Each of our spacious rooms has its own unique charm, and all are filled with period antiques. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of our gracious, comfortable living room, complete with a large fireplace and grand piano. All rates include a superb hot breakfast including home-baked pastries, fresh fruit, and fresh-squeezed juices.
Blackinton Manor is home to a variety of formal and informal musical events. Please request information on concert schedules or other special programs and events throughout the year.
Blackinton Manor is five minutes from MASS MoCA and the Williams College campus, the Williamstown Theater Festival, the Williams College Museum of Art, and the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. |

English Suite - The main room of this suite has a queen-size antique brass bed, the smaller, adjoining room has a day bed which can be made into two twin-size beds or a king-size bed. Private bath with marble tile shower. Mountain view. 5 persons maximum.
Music Room - This opulent downstairs room complete with baby grand piano, has a king-size bed or two twin-size beds. Private bath in a spacious, sunny alcove has a double Jacuzzi with hand held shower. 3 - 4 persons - maximum.
Queen Anne Room - This richly decorated upstairs room has an inviting day bed and a queen-size four poster bed. Large private bath has an oversized claw foot bathtub. Large room with balconies and mountain view.3 - 4 persons - maximum.
Carriage Room - This secluded downstairs room has a private entrance and windows overlooking gardens on both sides of the house. King-size bed or two twin-size beds. Private bath with shower.4 persons - maximum.
Blue Room - A charming, cozy upstairs room overlooking the back of the house. Private bath has a clawfoot bathtub with standing shower. 2 people - maximum.
All room rates include gourmet breakfast.

Payment by cash, check, money order or Visa or MC
Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made seven days or more prior to arrival, deposit will be returned in full. If cancellation is less than seven days, any rooms which we can rebook will be refunded at 90%; all no shows will be billed at full rate. Some special weekends require prepayment in full (eg. Williams College Alumni Weekend, Graudation, etc). |
