The Deerfield Inn, an original historic inn of New England, first opened its doors in July 1884. Today the Deerfield Inn remains the centerpiece of Old Deerfield, an unspoiled 350 year-old village and National Historic Landmark, with a collection of 18th and 19th century museum houses and the Flynt Center of Early New England Life, filled with some of the great decorative arts treasures of early America. It's said the Inn is home to a couple of inquisitive ghosts who, no doubt, stay to enjoy the Inn's warm hospitality.
